Louis Jadot Gevrey-Chambertin Clos St Jacques 2002 is a mature 1er Cru Burgundy Pinot Noir from the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation of the Côte de Nuits. Clos Saint-Jacques is arguably the most prestigious 1er Cru in Gevrey-Chambertin and in good vintages produces Pinion Noirs of a Grand Cru level. "Full reddish brown. Knockout perfumed nose combines raspberry, mocha, truffle and smoky minerality (`we`re entering the world of fungus, humus and leaves,` noted winemaker Frédéric Barnier).
