Frederic Savart Les Pinots V15.16

Frédéric Savart is a highly acclaimed producer making very sought-after champagnes in small quantities. Born into a family of vignerons, Frédéric work with just 4 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines, located in Ecueil and Villers-aux-Noeuds, just south of Reims. This particular release is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Pinot Meunier from the vintages of 2015 and 2016. The nose suggests red fruits, cranberries and vanilla custard, whereas the palate combines notes of brioche and more red fruit, with a twist of minerality. Only 4,000 bottles were produced.
