This wonderful indie bottling of Deanston single malt was finished in a Palo Cortado sherry octave cask, resulting in a beautifully integrated sherried flavour profile on the palate. Buttery pastries and zippy citrus on the nose, an earthy, coffeed complexity on the palate, and a delicately spiced finish, make for a whisky with aplomb.
