After spending 21 years in ex-bourbon casks, this peated Secret Orkney single malt was transferred to a highly coveted Palo Cortado sherry cask, before being left to rest for a final 6 months at Crabbie`s warehouse in Edinburgh. The nose is packed with dried fruit, vanilla fudge, forest berries and a hint of peppery smoke. The palate reveals flavours of sweet berries and cream, caramel toffee, more dried fruit, hints of dark chocolate and coffee, followed by a long finish.
