Bodegas El Nido was established in collaboration with the Gil family of Bodegas Juan Gil and Australian winemaker Chris Ringland. Utilising mature plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, together with ancient Monastrell (Mataro) selections from the mountain valleys North of Jumilla. Clio is composed from 60-70% Monastrell, with finishing touches of Cabernet and Syrah. The individual parcels are matured in an eclectic collection of new American and French barrels. This is a big, bold wine for those who enjoy full bodied, concentrated reds.
