Clarendon Hills is a small winery based in the McLaren Vale founded by biochemist Roman Bratasiuk in 1990. Considered somewhat of a maverick, he is also widely regarded as one of Australia’s greatest ever winemakers. The 2003 Brookman Vineyard Syrah is now in its optimum drinking window with sumptuously rich notes of blackberry, blueberry, camphor, spice and truffles.
