Domaine William Fèvre is a leading producer in Chablis and is one of the biggest landowners with 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, including significant holdings in many Premiers Crus and in six of the seven Grands Crus. Vinification remains incredibly traditional with fermentation and maturation on fine lees undertaken in a combination of stainless and seasoned oak (ave. 6 years old).
Bougros lies at the very western end of the Grands Crus area at altitudes ranging from 130-170m and has a mixture of marl and clay soils. The wines produced from here are often full, rich, intensely mineral, with excellent potential for ageing.
