Salvioni-La Cerbaiola is an estate winery in the Montalcino region in Tuscany. Its main wines are Rosso di Montalcino DOC and this Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. On the nose, the 2005 vintage reveals sweet cherries, cassis, strawberries, mint, sage, tobacco and hints of varnish. The palate is exuberant and warm, with plenty of fruit, kirsch brandy, liquorice, light wood and dried herbs.
