Broadbent Selections was established in 1996 by world-renowned Madeira expert, Michael Broadbent and his son, Bartholomew. Deep mahogany in colour, this is a luscious, medium-rich Madeira produced from Bual grapes from the 1964 vintage, offering up notes of citrus zest, dried fruits, caramel, vanilla and Christmas cake spices. It is mouthcoating and rich but tempered by zesty acidity, giving excellent balance and drive of flavour. This is a wonderful accompaniment to a cheese board.
