A true legend of winemaking and all round bon vivant, Didier Dagueneau described his mission to make the "world`s best Sauvignon Blanc". Having tasted the wines, it`s hard to argue. The estate is now ably managed by his son Benjamin, making wines that are characterised by ripeness and purity of fruit - this 2008 has gained weight and complexity over the years - enjoy with mature goat`s cheese or simply on its own.
