A A Badenhorst Sout van die Aarde Palomino Half 2020

AA Badenhorst Family Wines are grown, made and matured on the Kalmoesfontein farm in the Swartland appellation of South Africa, under the ownership of cousins Hein and Adi Badenhorst. Made from 100% Palomino grapes grown on the West Coast of South Africa where the salty sea winds and mists drench the vine`s leaves making this a truly unique site. Traditionally, Palomino was used mainly to produce sherry and sherry-styled wines in South Africa. Very few of these vineyards remain and the Brakkuil vineyard is one of them. A rare varietal bottling, the wine is pure, delicate and vinous, with a savoury, salty profile on the palate. Here in lovely half bottle format.
