Adi Badenhorst’s wines are really putting Swartland on the fine wine map. The 2014 Family White Blend is an endlessly delicious blend of mostly Chenin Blanc with 8 other aromatic white varieties. The nose is abundant with scents of honeyed white fruits but has intriguing nutty, saline complexity. On the palate, it is generous and lightly textural yet superbly balanced.
