Napa Valley native Mark Aubert makes some of California`s most sought-after Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. The 2019 CIX is according to the man himself ‘simply ethereal’. It opens with aromas of orchard fruits, apple blossom, honeycomb and jasmine tea. The palate is dense, with a brilliant sense of purity and transparency. Precise and well-balanced, with incredible length on the finish. Its appearance is slightly hazy showing their commitment to minimal intervention winemaking.
