Akashi 6 Year Old Red Wine Cask
Aged for five years in ex-Cognac barrels, this whisky was then finished for 12 months in ex-red wine casks for added flavour. The nose is round, fruity and woody whle the palate adds citrus oil, topical pineapple and a touch of baking spice. A balanced finish with a hint of black pepper rounds things off. Another great release from White Oak distillery.
