Founded in 2006 by Yossi Shor, the 1848 Winery makes small quantities of handcrafted wines of the highest possible quality. This 100% Argaman from a single vineyard at the lower Galilee was aged for 18 months in small French oak barrels, 40% new. The wine has delightful aromas of raspberries and red cherries. On the palate, it is a full-bodied wine, marked by black fruits, soft tannins and a long fruity finish.
