American Wheat Whiskey

Wheat whiskies are a relatively obscure type of American whiskies that are distilled with at least 51% wheat in the mashbill - a style unique from the more common 'Wheated Bourbons' that are made with a majority of of corn with wheat playing a significant supporting role. Wheat whiskies are most commonly made by progressive or experimental distillers who don't mind pushing the boundaries or deviating from traditional styles.
