Founded in 1969 by the iconic Dr Bailey Carrodus, Yarra Yering is one of the most celebrated estates in Australia. The 2013 Dry Red No.1 is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon with some Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. It is very much in the mould of Left Bank Bordeaux with superbly elegant notes of cassis, cedar, lavender and herbs.
