Based in the town of Premeaux-Prissey, Domaine de la Vougeraie is a Burgundy wine producer owned by the influential Boisset family. It is one of the newest domaines in the region, with holdings that cover approximately 40 hectares in 30 different appellations throughout the region. This particular expression comes from Clos Blanc, a walled vineyard adjacent to the Château du Clos de Vougeot. Despite the French Revolution in 1789 when national land was sold off, the Clos Blanc de Vougeot remained a monopole, an undivided property.
