£51.80
The 2014 flagship red from South African producer, Vergelegen, is an enticing blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc and 6% Merlot grown on the dry-land Rondekop vineyards. Plum, chocolate, graphite and cassis and cedar wood on the nose. On the palate the fruit, tannin and acidity marry perfectly to offer balance and complexity, supported by flavours of black cherry, black currants and refreshing minerals.
