A historic bottling of Tobermory from the eponymous distillery on the Isle of Mull. This contains some of the first spirit to be made at the distillery when it reopened in 1972. The nose is beautifully complex, with scents of smoke, tobacco, liquorice, black cherries, roasted chestnuts, old leather, cocoa powder and stewed prunes. The palate is rich and luxurious, featuring dark chocolate, coffee, cherry liqueur, oak, cloves, liquorice, spices and dried black fruits.
