Taylor`s Quinta De Vargellas Vinha Velha 2000

Situated in the wild and hilly eastern section of the Douro Valley, Quinta de Vargellas is widely regarded as one of the finest vineyards in the region and often provides the backbone to Taylor’s Vintage Ports. However, in particular vintages, Taylor’s release Quinta de Vargellas Vinha Velha as a very limited production single-Quinta Port made from five selected plots of old vines that average 80 to 120 years in age. The 2000 release was awarded a perfect 100-point score from Mark Squires in The Wine Advocate and given a drinking window of 2020-2060.
