Hillside Select is the flagship wine of iconic Napa Valley producer, Shafer Vineyards and is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from 14 rugged vineyard blocks planted on an amphitheatre-shaped piece of land that surrounds the winery. The 2009 is typically powerful and intense with beautiful notes of crème de cassis, cedar, vanilla, liquorice and tobacco. Radiant, heady and flamboyant, it never overreaches itself and delivers endless waves of joy with consummate elegance and finesse.
