Seavey Cabernet Sauvignon 1991

Based in the Conn Valley, Napa, Seavey are a fantastic small-scale producer of Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon from a vineyard that can trace its history back to the 1870s. 1991 was a stellar vintage in California and Seavey are well known for their exceptionally concentrated and long-lived wines and this is certainly no exception. Now fully mature and with melting tannins, this is a sumptuous and rich red wine offering up waves of wonderfully rich red and black fruits, delightfully interwoven with delicious savoury nuances of truffle, tapenade, cedar and tobacco.
