Screaming Eagle Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Though world-renowned for their Cabernet Sauvignon, since 2012 Screaming Eagle has also produced absolutely miniscule quantities (around 30-50 cases) of Sauvignon Blanc. In much the same way as their flagship red this wine sets itself apart from others in the region for its unbelievable levels of flavour intensity and precision. It is medium-bodied, textural and seamlessly balanced, with complex notes of freshly squeezed citrus, tropical fruits, stem ginger and honeysuckle. 2014 was generally considered an excellent year in the Napa Valley, and whilst ready to drink, this should develop nicely in the bottle over the coming 2-3 years.
