Schloss Saarstein is based in the Saar district of the Mosel region in Germany. It is a genuine German château unusually situated right in the heart of one of the estate vineyards. Eiswein is a notoriously difficult to produce sweet style of Riesling, often yielding minute quantities of incredibly pure and complex wine. The best examples will last for many decades.
