Saxum Rocket Block 2005

The Saxum Rocket Block 2005 is one of the winery`s flagship wines. This particular bottling is a blend of Rhône grape varieties, primarily Grenache, with smaller portions of Syrah and Mourvèdre. The fruit for this wine comes from the esteemed James Berry Vineyard, specifically from a block called the "Rocket Block" due to its steep, rocky terrain and the exceptional quality of the fruit it produces. Expect notes of black and red fruits, such as blackberries, raspberries and cherries, along with layers of spices, leather and earthy undertones.
