Weingut Robert Weil is based in the Rheingau village of Kiedrich and is a winery steeped in tradition and history, having been established in 1867. The Gräfenberg vineyard is one of the most highly revered in the region, and Dr. Robert Weil’s 19th Century offerings were often found on the tables of Europe’s high nobility.
From the 1991 vintage, this is a rare bottling of mature Eiswein, an exceptionally sweet style of Riesling that is renowned for remarkable levels of purity and complexity. Some say 1991 was the best vintage for Eiswein since 1983.
