Peter Michael Winery was established in 1983 and Mon Plaisir is the original Chardonnay bottling, produced in every vintage since 1987. Though the fruit source has changed over the years, it now uses fully estate-grown fruit from the Mon Plaisir Vineyard in the Knights Valley AVA, in Sonoma County. Now perfectly in its optimum drinking window, the 2014 is a delicious wine with seductive notes of warm tropical fruits, citrus blossom, fresh butter, poached pear and toasted almonds.
