Peter Michael Les Pavots Half 2014

Since its establishment in 1983, the aim of Peter Michel Winery has been to produce small quantities of elegant, terroir-driven wines in the mould of the very best wines of Bordeaux and Burgundy. Les Pavots in 2014 was composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon with lesser parts Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot all sourced from the Knights Valley AVA. This is a stylish, full-bodied red with sumptuous notes of black fruits, liquorice, cedar, black tea, graphite and black truffle. Rich yet supplely textured, elegant and marvellously complex, this will age superbly for at least two decades.
