Peter Michael Les Pavots Half 2005

Les Pavots is the unapologetically Bordeaux-styled Cabernet Sauvignon-driven blend from legendary producer, Peter Michael Winery. With all fruit sourced from the Knights Valley AVA in Sonoma County, the 2005 is composed of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon with lesser parts Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. This is a rich and opulent wine, yet never gets carried away with itself. With all structural components effortlessly in harmony, flavours flit between deep black fruits, cigar box, forest floor, liquorice, graphite and cacao with stylish elegance. A supreme release now really hitting its stride.
