Since its establishment in 1983, the aim of Peter Michel Winery has been to produce small quantities of elegant, terroir-driven wines in the mould of the very best wines of Bordeaux and Burgundy. Au Paradis is a single estate blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a small quantity of Cabernet Franc. The inaugural 2011 release is deeply laden with notes of black fruit, sandalwood, pipe tobacco, cloves and cinnamon. A long, cool growing season has imbued this wine with delicious freshness and elegant structure.
