Anita und Hans Nittnaus lies on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl, in the heart of the town of Gols. The estate today comprises 57 hectares spread over 70 different vineyards, almost two thirds of which are devoted to red grape varieties, with particular focus on the autochthonous varieties of Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch. This is a structured but silky wine, with delicious notes of blackberries, violets and pipe tobacco. A wonderfully harmonious and elegant wine, this would make the perfect accompaniment to pork shashlik.
