Crafted by Alex Milner at Natte Valleij, this wine exemplifies the essence of South African Chenin Blanc. It originates from old dry land bush vines planted in 1985, thriving in the Darling region. The grapes are carefully vinified using indigenous yeasts, and the wine undergoes barrel fermentation and maturation on the lees for nine months. The nose reveals an intricate blend of ripe pear, quince, luscious apricots, and delicate spice notes. On the palate, it exudes elegance, boasting a velvety texture harmoniously balanced by a pronounced mineral character.
