This release comes from a tiny estate situated in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis, run by Phillipe Jouan, the fifth generation of his family to make red Burgundy. The Pinot Noir grapes are typically de-stemmed, with up to 15% whole-bunch fermentation in cooler vintages. The 2020 vintage is still in its prime youth and will benefit from a few years in the cellar before being opened.
