Established in 1743, Moët & Chandon is arguably the most recognised champagne brand in the world. In 1971, the maison famously merged with Hennessy Cognac and later with Louis Vuitton to become the global luxury group LVMH [Louis-Vuitton-Moët-Hennessy], which today also includes Dom Pérignon, Krug and Veuve Clicquot. This is a rare bottle of the 1985 vintage, one of the best of the decade.
