Domaine Sylvain Pataille Marsannay Les Longeroies 2013 is a medium-bodied, single-vineyard Burgundy red wine from the Marsannay appellation of Côte de Nuits. Based in Marsannay-la-Côte, Sylvain Pataille a highly lauded wine producer known for his dedication to organic and biodynamic viticulture. Sylvain started his Domaine in 1999 with just 1 hectare of vines but has since grown the estate to its current size of 15 hectares. Les Longeroies is one of the most prized vineyard sites in Marsannay – indeed it is a prime candidate for elevation to Premier Cru status. This exemplary Pataille cuvée is from the excellent 2013 Marsannay vintage and was fermented with 100% whole bunches.
