First produced in 1966, Les Forts de Latour is the second wine from the world-renowned Château Latour, which produces three red wines in total. The 2016 vintage is a blend composed of 64.3% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35.3% Merlot and 0.4% Cabernet Franc, and it represented 37.5% of production that year. It is a medium- to full-bodied wine, with clear precision and character, boasting notes of cassis, plums, violets, some crushed rocks and hints of cardamom. Available here in half-bottles.
