The second wine of Tenuta dell’Ornellaia conceived to showcase Merlot which assumes a leading role in this blend. It is ably supported by 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. The palate is dominated by red berries and dried herbs leading to a lingering, mineral-tinged finish.
