Lanson Vintage Magnum 1976
Lanson has some incredible vintage champagnes up their sleeves, including this 1976 cuvée, which spent 39 years on the lees. A blend of 53% Chardonnay and 47% Pinot Noir, the wine has intense aromas of dried figs, Mirabelle plums and prunes. The palate has a nutty character, rich in dried fruits and complex. The mouthfeel is elegant and refreshing, with a surprisingly high acidity. The finish is lingering and rich.
