Kapcsandy Estate Cuvee Magnum 2012

The Kapcsandy Family Winery only began in 2005 but has already garnered a fine reputation for their exceptionally limited production high quality cuvées from their State Lane Vineyard in Yountville, Napa. The 2012 Estate Cuvée is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot made in the mould of the finest wines from the Médoc. Indeed, there is more than a cursory nod to those hallowed reds with its sumptuous notes of cassis, mocha, dried flowers, earth and liquorice. With sweet tannins and supreme elegance, this is a charm to drink now but will evolve beautifully over the next 15 years.
