Insignia is the flagship wine from the legendary family-owned and run Joseph Phelps Vineyards winery in California. 2004 marked a significant occasion as this was the first vintage produced from entirely estate-grown fruit. It is a blend composed of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 12% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec with deep and expressive notes of plum, graphite, mocha and violets. A gorgeous wine with sumptuous texture and a very long finish.
