This Cuvée Royale 1989 from producer Joseph Perrier, here in magnum format, is a light and airy champagne, that will be particularly enjoyed as an aperitif. A blend of 35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier, it exhibits a pale colour, with beautiful coppery reflections. It has a complex nose, with notes of green apples and peaches. On the palate, the Cuvée Royale has a powerful and lively attack, which finishes on a lingering fruity note.
