This remarkable cognac has spent more than 80 years in oak casks, slowly developing its deep aromas and complex flavours. There are nuanced notes of marmalade, thyme, banana and spices with a rich and complex palette of flavours, including mandarin, toffee brittle, spices, marmalade, gingerbread and roasted nuts. Beautifully balanced, the flavours surround the palate with a velvety softness which enhances the intense ‘rancio’.
