Sylvain Cathiard is a family-owned estate covering approximately 5.5 hectares of vineyards spread between Vosne-Romanée, Nuit-Saint-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny, including a very small plot in Romanée-Saint-Vivant. Following the retirement of Sylvain, the Domaine has been run by his son, Sébastien since 2011. This recent release is the 2020 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, a blend of several parcels with vines planted in 1972 and 2010. The grapes are de-stemmed, and the wine is aged for up to 18 months in oak barrels, 20% new.
