Schloss Gobelsburg is an exceptional producer based in the town of Langenlois, in the oldest and most prestigious Austrian region of Kamptal. This is a wonderful single-vineyard Riesling now moving into its peak drinking phase. It is pungent, slightly smoky and intensely mineral, but has wonderful perfumed notes of gooseberry, apricot and elderflower.
