Glenturret Triple Wood (2023 Release)

Situated near the town of Crieff, Glenturret claims to be one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, with a history that dates back to at least 1775. Over the years, Glenturret has changed ownership several times. It was owned by The Edrington Group for a period and was later acquired by Lalique, the luxury goods company known for its crystal products. The Glenturret Triple Wood 2023 underwent maturation in a trio of cask types. American and European oak casks seasoned with sherry, along with the influence of Bourbon barrels. Through skilful orchestration, these three distinct cask styles converge, resulting in a whisky displaying a captivating golden hue and nuanced character.
