Glenfarclas’ exceptional 40-year-old whisky was originally launched during the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival in 2010. It offers all of the sherried Glenfarclas character and exceptional maturity. The nose is very complex, revealing aromas of cedar wood, zesty dark chocolate, cigar box and leather. The palate is equally multi-layered, with notes of chocolate, raisins, dates, figs, Maraschino cherries and some macchiato coffee.
