Glen Keith is a relatively new distillery in Scotland, having only been founded in 1957 by the Chivas Brothers. The owners needed a lighter style of whisky for their blends intended for the American market, and as such, Glen Keith triple distilled their whisky for some time. This expression was distilled in 1993 and bottled independently by by Gordon & MacPhail for their `Connoisseurs Choice` range. It’s a medium-bodied dram, combining citrus fruit, rhubarb, vanilla and malty notes.
