A very rare bottle of 1949 vintage Glen Grant from independent bottlers Gordon & MacPhail. The nose reveals a slight mustiness, typical from long-aged whiskies and some cherry notes too. The palate opens with some spicy notes and a ripe fruitiness, followed by a dry, clean oak taste that dominates the mouthfeel up to the finish.
