George T. Stagg is a limited-production bourbon distributed by Buffalo Trace, as part of the distillery`s ‘Antique Collection’ series. The 2016 edition of George T Stagg was released at the impressive strength of 72.05% ABV. But despite the proof, it’s an extremely approachable pour. The nose reveals notes of black cherry compote, toffee, vanilla, wood smoke, pepper and burnt sugar. The palate offers chocolate covered cherries, creamy vanilla, oak, nutmeg and caramel.
